With the activity yesterday and this morning, tomorrow's forecast has been lost in the shuffle.
We'll have yet ANOTHER wave of moisture coming our way. This one will be tomorrow morning through midday. Air will be cold enough to our North for some accumulating snow but for us, it'll be mainly rain.
BUT, as the rain tapers off enough cold air will arrive for a brief changeover to snow before it ends. I don't expect much accumulating snow tomorrow in Richmond, but just North and West of town looks a bit different. Here's a map with the current snow forecast, through tomorrow afternoon. You'll notice Henrico's west end is right on the line, with an outside chance at an inch of snow.
It's another borderline event for us, with cold air and moisture in short supply. DC is a different story. I put 2-4" there but that could easily be higher.
Be sure to catch Jim this evening for the latest. The NWS already has a winter storm watch up in C'ville and DC:
Again: mainly rain in RVA but could end as some snow.
