Our "Meteorological Summer" begins June 1st and ends August 31st. This makes it easier when seperating the seasons when going through past climate data. So, we can already reflect back on what our 2012 Summer has been like (excluding today's data). The revelation: it really wasn't a hot Summer.
"Hot" can be subjective and some of you may not agree with classifying Summer 2012 as not that hot, but I'll let you be the judge when comparing this Summer with the past few years. Below is a list of the average high temperatures each month, and an average of the whole Summer.
