Adams is currently an attorney at McGuire Woods, where his online profile says he's the chair of the Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation Department.
"I am not a politician, but like many citizens across the Commonwealth, I am frustrated with our government and those who run it," Adams said.
Adams earned his Economic degree in 1996 from Virginia Military Institute. After graduating he received his commission as a US Naval Officer and served tours in the Persian Gulf and Central America.
After serving in the Navy, Adams attended the University of Virginia School of Law. He clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas on the US Supreme Court, then served as Associate White House Counsel for President George W. Bush.
He returned to Richmond to serve as a federal prosecutor.
"I look forward to traveling across Virginia in the coming months to help elect a Republican president in 2016 and defeat Mark Herring in 2017," Adams said.
