The Virginia Department of Elections confirmed Thursday that a federal judge extended voter registration in the Commonwealth through 11:59 p.m. Friday.
Thousands of Virginians were not able to register by midnight on Monday -- the original deadline -- when there were several computer glitches.
Anyone wishing to register to vote can do so in three ways:
- Fill out a form and take it to your local registrar's office during business hours. Most offices close at 5 p.m.
- Mail in your form. It must be postmarked on or before Oct. 21.
- Submit it online by 11:59 p.m. Friday
