U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine appeared on NBC's "Meet The Press" on Sunday saying he's been both a "leader" and a "follower."
"I know how to work on a team," he said when asked about being a candidate for vice president this year.
Kaine was referring to his roles in his church, on Richmond's City Council and other roles in Virginia's government. Watch his full response below:
Kaine, Virginia's former governor, is considered by many Democrats as a top choice for Hillary Clinton's running mate. Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, is expected to name her choice for vice president before the Democratic Convention gets underway on July 25 in Philadelphia.
