Donald Trump's appearance on the cover of Playboy in 1990 made an appearance in an unexpected Twitter account this week -- that of Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr.
Falwell, who is part of Trump's 21-member Evangelical Executive Advisory Board, posted the tweet ahead of introducing Trump at a religious leader summit.
Falwell, the son of the late evangelical leader the Rev. Jerry Falwell, personally endorsed Trump earlier this year and has said his support is not endorsement from the university in Lynchburg.
The Rev. Falwell was often critical of sex outside of marriage and gay couples.
A BuzzFeed report says the model in the Playboy cover is now serving jail time for involvement in a drug-smuggling ring.
The photo also set off a firestorm of tweets reacting to the photo, which drew this response from Falwell:
"Honored for same hypocrites who accused Jesus of being a friend of publicans and sinners to be targeting me over a decades old mag cover!"
