I am very excited about a special report we have planned for tonight on NBC12.
We will tell the story about a former POW from Richmond that served 18 months in a Japanese prison camp during World War II.
James "Denny" Landrum made home safe, but his connection to that camp lasted long beyond his death in 1980 through his son Jerry.
Tonight at 11 we will show you the Landrum family's search for a special symbol that embodied the struggle of Denny's time in that prison camp.
Here is a video preview of this amazing story you will not want to miss:
Over on my facebook page I also share a personal story about my family's connection to World War II. Please check it out and share your stories as well!
