I had a great time moderating the debate of the candidates for City Council in Richmond's 2nd and 5th districts on Wednesday night. The Fan District Association hosted the event at Fox Elementary School.
(The debate featured 5 candidates from 2 different districts)
All the candidates performed very well and we learned a lot about where they stand heading into the fall election.
If you couldn't be there. Here is both debates in their entirety in two parts:
2nd District City Council Debate Part 1:

So this post has been up for about an hour and Ron Paul has over 700 votes!?!?! Really? The Ron Paul Bots strike again!I have been farnivog Newt Gingrich for some time, but was really disappointed with his positions on a not deporting those who are illegally in this country and his views on strengthening the Patriot Act.I must say Jon Huntsman actually did pretty well for himself. Mitt Romney and Herman Cain did quite well, and Rick Perry wasn't a disaster.
