EXCLUSIVE: NBC12 talks one on one with Romney

We just wrapped a Virginia exclusive one on one interview with the presumptive GOP candidate for President of the United States, Mitt Romney.

We spoke to Romney via satellite from the campaign trail in Alabama. 

The governor defended his tax plan telling us that it will not raise a cent on middle class families and promised that his medicare plan would not change the program in any way for seniors.

We also got his take on potential defense cuts and their impact on Virginia and a proposal he has to cut the federal work force by 10%.

Finally, we asked for specifics on how his administration would differ from the last republican president, George W. Bush's administration. He provided an interesting response.

We'll share the interview today on NBC12 starting on First at 4. We will post the entire interview on Decision Virginia later this afternoon.
